Last week in my post “It’s A Revelation – The Base Chakra Is Last To Open” I spoke about John, in the book of Revelation, describing the opening of the ‘Seven Seals’ wherein the first seal (chakra) to open was the second from the bottom. Relating that to our chakra system, the second chakra is generally known, these days, as the sacral chakra.
As described in that post, the current common names for the first 6 chakras are the Base Chakra, Sacral, Solar-Plexus, Heart, Throat, and Brow or Third-Eye.
However, as shown in the diagram below from ancient texts, the chakras were originally named, in the same order, Sacral, Genital, then on to Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, and Brow.
Why would the names, of the first two chakras, have been altered? And does it matter?
In the previous post on this topic, I spoke about the changes that were made over the years in the Caduceus.
Originally, the symbol showed the two snakes with one snake with its head at the crown chakra and the second snake descending with its head at the base. But today it’s extremely rare to find the snakes in this configuration. Today, we normally see the two heads of the two snakes facing each other at the top of the staff.
I suggested that the original ancient representation was “Censored out” because of the great significance of the symbol in that original form.
So too, there’s been a change in the name of the first two chakras – Chakra 1 from Sacrum to Base; and Chakra 2 from Genital to Sacral (see the diagram below).
Over the centuries, the original in-form-mation has, yet again, been distorted and confused. However, for the real student of truth, this only makes one dig deeper to sort out the truth from the false and see the metaphors, seen or not seen, between the lines – the choice is ours.
And so when seen from this ancient perspective of Sacrum (chakra #1) and Genital or Sex ( chakra #2) a new metaphor emerges that is very relevant for us today.
The genital chakra is where the duel-istic [sic] energy-aspect is ‘electrically centered’ in the ‘life creative center’ for creating physical children, in basic human beings on the physical plane.
When a child is born it is either male or female. This represents a dualism of either positive or negative life-force-charge in each of us. Thus we are born as one part of a duality and so must start the long search for our other Missing Half.
Later in the life of the Initiate/Seeker, in the Latter Days, the use of the sex chakra [the under-world] is super-seeded [sic] and given-up; and the energy/snakes/Kundalini is Risen-Up by right intent and many years of service to others. Then finally, when Unified and Consummated within, it can “give birth” to the Christ Child within, not seen with physical eyes, but it can be sensed by those coming up on a similar wave length or frequency.
In other words, we are born as part of a duality in to a world of duality. And yes, these energies can be transformed into creating ……..a Christ child within, in a metaphoric Virgin birth process, where dual physical eyes do not see.
When we have burned-up our own dross or ‘karmic stuff’ in our very base, and are at our very own ‘rock bottom’ in humility with our own uniqueness, coupled with right intent and forgiveness, then like the phoenix, we can rise out of our own ashes.
This rise again from the duality at the base chakra to the Third Eye then unifies, and as one is now in resonance with the oneness of the crown chakra of consciousness.
The second diagram below clearly shows the human body and the direct line of ascension from the base chakra straight back up to the crown chakra.
Perhaps today is, or is in the band width of, “the second coming” with the second Harmonic Convergence, on May 27th/28th signaling oneness and completion.
This is the time of the World Wide, ‘group initiation’ and is a knock-on process happening, ‘Two by Two into the ARK’ as the/our animal nature gives way to the time when “the Lion shall lay down with the LAMB” – yet another inside story.
Nevertheless, there are still 6 more months before the end of this current 6th night of inter-gration time.
And so I for one am treading care-fully as an end point is in sight, and so I’m looking more, at doing more, by doing less.
Each must find their own path and I must be content to allow them to do so. And if my incomplete works of the printed word are a help to the seeker, so be it, because the truth is, I cannot tell anyone anything.
